Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates in Texas
Supportive, reflective supervision for counselors building confidence and competence.
Virtual LPC supervision throughout Texas.
Beginning your career as a therapist is both exciting and challenging. Clinical supervision provides a supportive space to strengthen your clinical skills, navigate ethical questions, and grow with confidence as you work toward independent licensure.
Beginning Your Career Can Feel Like a Lot
Your first years as a therapist came with a steep learning curve. You’re balancing client care, documentation, ethical decision-making, licensure requirements, and the pressure of wanting to do good work.
It's normal to question yourself after difficult sessions, wonder whether you handled something correctly, or feel unsure about the next clinical step.
Supervision isn't about having all the answers. It's about having a place to think critically, ask questions, and continue developing with confidence.
Is This the Kind of Supervision You’re Looking For?
You’re Thoughtful
You enjoy reflecting on your clinical work and want to continue growing.
You Ask Questions
You want a supervisor who welcomes curiosity instead of expecting perfection.
You Value Ethics
You want guidance navigating difficult clinical situations with confidence.
You’re Building Your Own Identity
You want to develop your own therapeutic voice—not become a copy of your supervisor.
My Supervision Approach
Drawing on more than a decade of experience in mental health, I strive to create a supervision experience that balances thoughtful reflection with practical guidance.
I believe clinical supervision should be more than fulfilling licensure requirements — it should be a place where you feel supported, challenged, and encouraged as you grow into the therapist you want to become.
My supervision style is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in curiosity rather than criticism. Together, we'll slow down to explore your clinical thinking, strengthen your decision-making, and build confidence through thoughtful discussion rather than judgment.
I don't believe supervision is about having all the answers. It's about creating space to ask meaningful questions, reflect on your work, and develop your own clinical voice.
My goal isn't to create therapists who practice like me.
My goal is to help you become the clinician you want to be.

The LPC Associate Clinical Supervision Journey
1) Let’s Connect
We'll begin with a consultation to discuss your professional goals, supervision needs, and whether we're a good fit for working together. This is an opportunity to ask questions, learn about my supervision style, and explore how I can support your growth as an LPC Associate in Texas.
2) Complete Your Supervision Paperwork
Starting supervision can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating Texas LPC licensure requirements. I'll guide you through the required supervision paperwork and help ensure everything is in place before you begin accruing hours.
3) Build Confidence Through Clinical Supervision
As you gain supervised clinical experience, our conversations will become increasingly tailored to your developing caseload, clinical questions, and professional goals. You'll have space to process difficult cases, strengthen your clinical reasoning, and gain confidence applying your knowledge in real-world practice.
Supervision is a collaborative space where questions are welcomed, uncertainty is normalized, and professional growth is encouraged.
4) Develop Your Clinical Identity
Over time, supervision becomes more than reviewing cases. We'll explore your therapeutic style, professional values, areas of strength, and opportunities for continued growth while helping you build confidence in your own clinical judgment and voice.
As your confidence grows, supervision becomes less about finding the "right" answer and more about strengthening your own clinical judgment and therapeutic voice.
5) Prepare for Independent Licensure
As you approach the completion of your supervision hours, I'll support you through the final steps toward Texas LPC licensure. We'll review supervision documentation, discuss the licensure process, and make sure you feel prepared for the transition from LPC Associate to Licensed Professional Counselor.
Ready to Grow as a Clinician?
Clinical supervision is more than completing licensure requirements—it's an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and develop into the therapist you want to become.

My background includes nearly a decade of experience in crisis services, partial hospitalization (PHP), and community mental health, working with clients experiencing a wide range of diagnoses and levels of care. I especially enjoy supervising cases involving crisis intervention, psychosis, grief, chronic illness, life transitions, anxiety, and depression, and I have a particular interest in mental health partnerships with first responders. Because of the breadth of my clinical experience, I'm comfortable supporting associates as they navigate both common concerns and more complex clinical presentations.
