How Insurance Billing Works
If you choose to use insurance, your benefits will be verified and claims will be submitted directly to your insurance company through my billing platform. If your plan includes copays, deductibles, or coinsurance, those will be collected according to your insurance requirements.
Important Information About Insurance Coverage
Insurance benefits vary depending on your specific plan, deductible, and mental health coverage. I am unable to guarantee coverage, benefits, or reimbursement, as these are determined by your insurance plan. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm your outpatient mental health benefits and expected out-of-pocket costs.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your insurance provider and is not guaranteed.
I recognize that access to mental health care can be an important part of being able to begin or stay engaged in therapy. To support this, I offer a limited number of reduced-fee (sliding scale) appointments for clients experiencing financial hardship.
These spots are intentionally limited and based on both financial need and current availability. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out so we can talk through current options and determine whether a reduced-fee space is available at the time of scheduling.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of non-emergency healthcare services. This estimate is available upon request prior to starting services. You can read more about Good Faith Estimates here.
Cancellation & Missed Appointments
Life happens, and I understand that unexpected situations can come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged the full session fee. This policy helps protect the time reserved specifically for you and allows me to continue providing consistent care to all clients.
If an unexpected emergency arises, please reach out as soon as you're able.
